First National British Baseball Summer Cup set for July 2023

The first national British Baseball Summer Cup will be held on Saturday 22nd July and Sunday 23rd 2023 at Farnham Park.

Tournament Registration will be open January 8th 2023 and will be on a first come first served basis. Please fill in the expression of interest form above to get early access to the registration link.

There will be two separate divisions, higher and lower, with 16 spots across both groups. The tournament will consist of a round robin group stage before the competition proceeds to knockout for the chance to be crowned the first National British Baseball Cup Champion.

Teams will play a fast-paced form of tournament baseball with limited breaks, with no more than a 90-minute off time between games.

According to BBF President Tom Thornhill, “a national tournament format of baseball has been absent from the British Baseball Federation’s summer calendar for some time. I've personally enjoyed playing tournaments in university baseball, the Diamond series and similar tournaments at Farnham Park over the last two years.

"Hosting a festival-style baseball tournament over the course of two days with all four diamonds in use will be a genuine opportunity for the community to unite in celebration of our sport over a terrific baseball weekend.”
