Fantastic end to 2024 YNBC’s

After a great day out at Farnham Park for the U10s and U12s last weekend, the YNBC’s concluded yesterday on another sunny day with the U15 division.

Grovehill Ballpark at Herts Baseball Club played host to six teams from around the country.

Pool play ended with a thrilling, back-and-forth game, with the LYBL Bulldogs finally and narrowly edging Herts to advance to the championship game.

The consolation game could not be decided in regular time, with the Atom Smashers and Herts playing a tight defensive game that ended at 1-1.  The Atom Smashers ultimately took a close game and 3rd place with a 3-1 victory.

The final was also a back-and-forth affair, pitting the LYBL Saints against the Bulldogs.  The Bulldogs jumped out to an early lead, but the Saints fought back to take the game and the title, 9-6.

Congratulations again to all of our YNBC Champions for 2024.

- U10: Sussex Firebirds

- U12 BBF Shield: Cambridge Atom Smashers

- U12: LYBL

- U15: LYBL

Thank you to the 12 clubs who participated in the YNBCs across the two weekends, and we are already looking forward to seeing you all again next season.
