GB Women’s National Team - Euros Prep Update

GB Baseball Women’s National Team is preparing hard for WBSC Women’s Baseball European Championship 2025.

The tournament will take place in Hluboká nad Vltavou, Czech Republic, from 14th August to 17th August.

Players have been building on their 2024 season with individual and team training sessions led by the coaching team.

Recently they were in Cardiff for a training session as well as helping with an academy for local players.

The six hour academy session featured 31 local players, including 15 youth players and 11 from the local Blue Sox Welsh Baseball team.

The session was directed by four WNT coaches and nine players, the session was both inspiring and supportive. The local players brought boundless enthusiasm and a hunger to learn, making the day unforgettable for all involved.

A massive thank you to the organisers who worked tirelessly to ensure the weekend ran smoothly.

A special shout out to Holly Ireland, whose resilience and commitment, despite recent hip surgery, were a major part of the day’s success.

The road to the European Championship starts now, and every player and coach are ready to give it everything.
