Big Thank You to Bat Flips and Nerds for Fencing Donation

Bat Flips and Nerds, the UK’s leading baseball podcast and website, has donated 100 rolls of plastic fencing mesh netting (blue/yellow) to the British baseball community.

Each roll is one metre high x 50 metres long and is available to any BBF affiliated club free of charge.

John McGee and Tom Pringle, founders of Bat Flips and Nerds said

“The growth of recreational baseball here in the UK alongside the success of our national GB teams has been a joy to watch. We hope this donation supports the volunteers who keep these clubs going and helps them to find the next GB baseball star.”

To claim some of this goodwill, clubs need to email development@britishbaseball.org.uk with the reason why they believe the club needs the fencing.

The maximum available is five rolls per club and arrangements will need to be made to collect from Farnham Park.

“Clubs work very hard to ensure their fields are in the best possible shape for the season and maintaining the quality of the fencing can be a struggle,”said Lee Manning, the BBF’s Development Official. “Bat Flips and Nerds make an invaluable contributions to the British baseball community and this donation will have a positive impact on local clubs.”
