RECRUITING VOLUNTEERS FOR THE WBSC BLIND BASEBALL INTERNATIONAL CUP

As announced back in April this year, the WBSC Blind Baseball International Cup will be held from Friday, 27 September to Sunday, 29 September 2024 at the National Baseball and Softball Complex at Farnham Park.

The BBF supported by BSUK is proud to be able to host the tournament after its first iteration in The Netherlands in 2022 and the WBSC Europe European championship in Italy.

It will be the first time the UK has hosted such a WBSC event and the largest international tournament in recent history.

We are now recruiting volunteers from the British baseball community and beyond to come and help in a variety of roles at what promises to be an amazing event.

Your help will make a difference and ensure the event is a great success and show support for the GB Blind Baseball team who will be taking part after success in previous tournaments.

The schedule of games is shown below and includes exciting match ups for GB with the USA and Pakistan.

Further information about the tournament can be found here

Whether you're a baseball enthusiast or just eager to be part of something special, we have a variety of roles for volunteers throughout the weekend.

The roles include being guides for the players on and off the field as well as marshalling vehicles and spectators.

This is your chance to support an incredible event, meet amazing people, and make a difference.

If you are interested, please sign up via the form in this link now to join the team.
