Stage is set for NBL and AAA finals

This weekend (Saturday 14th September and Sunday 14th September) will see the climax of the BBF NBL and BBF AAA 2024 baseball seasons with four teams battling it out at Farnham Park.

The Essex Arrows and London Mets face each other to become NBL champions while Bristol Badgers and Croydon Pirates will contest the AAA championship.

For the first time ever, both finals will consist of three match series with four games being broadcast live by Journey Sports Media over the two days.

Essex Arrows finished top of the regular season NBL table with a .739 win percentage.

Defending champions London Mets finished second with a .696 win percentage.

The teams faced each other three times - the Mets hold a 2-1 advantage - during the regular season with two games rained out.

The Badgers and the Pirates will face each other for the first time.

The Badgers finshed the regular season with a .680 win percentage in the South West Division and beat Liverpool Trojans 8-1 in the semi-final to claim their place in the final.

Croydon Pirates had an excellent season topping the A Division with a .818 win percentage. They overcame London Metros 6-5 in a thrilling semi-final at Roundshaw Playing Fields.

Four of the six of the games will be broadcast live on Journey Sports Media’s YouTube Channel over the weekend.

The broadcast schedule will cover Game One of the AAA championship and all three NBL championship games.

The live broadcasts will start at 9.30 am on both days and as well as commentary will feature manager and player interviews, full stats, crowd reaction and interviews with British baseball fans and volunteers.

The AA and A championship finals will be on Sunday 22nd September at Farnham Park. Details to follow.

The NBL, AAA, AA and A champions winners will receive a free celebratory session at The 108.
