TWO NEW END OF SEASON TOURNAMENTS ANNOUNCED

There will be two new end of season tournaments held at Farnham Park at the end of September.

The two tournaments are for players 45 and over and for those aged between 16 and 23 who are affiliated to the BBF as club members or as individuals. Both will be held on Sunday 24th September 2023.

We were able to secure this date due to a late cancellation and we hope that both tournaments will become a regular fixture in the BBF schedule with dates and venues published at the beginning of the season going forward.

The deadline for registering to play in either is noon on Monday 11th September.

If you qualify for the 16 to 23 age group you can register here 16 to 23

If your birthday is in 2023 and fits with either of the groups you are eligible to play.

If you or your parent/guardian have already responded to the recent email you do not need to register again.

Players of all abilities are welcome. We expect to have a draft the week before to ensure the teams are balanced.

The BBF values the contribution all members make to the game every year and would like to bring together this cohort of members who would not normally have the opportunity to be on the field together for a series of games.

The costs, we anticipate, will be c£15-20 to include food at Home Plate and a t-shirt.

Finally, GB take on Sweden on the opening day of the 2023 European Championship and this will be screened at Home Plate.
