We're looking for new volunteer GB Baseball Head Coaches

Great Britain Baseball is looking for two UK-based, experienced baseball coaches with the passion, drive and experience to take charge of our Women’s Senior National Baseball team (WSNT) and our Under 18 National Baseball Team (U18s).

The Women’s Senior National team is scheduled to play in its 2nd European Championship in Summer 2024.

The U18s will compete in the European Championships in Summer 2024.

The successful coaches will have demonstrated experience coaching in a High Performance Baseball club/organisation and possess energy, leadership and communication skills required to realise our shared vision for on-field success, in addition to:

  • Setting the strategy for all assistant coaches and staff

  • Planning, managing and delivering training sessions throughout the year

  • Managing the selection process leading up to the final tournament roster

  • Ongoing player and programme development within GB Baseball as a whole

  • Experience managing UK-based and overseas players

This is a volunteer role and is based in the UK.

The applications will be assessed by a panel comprised of GB Baseball officials and coaching staff who will select a shortlist of candidates for the next round. Short-listed applicants will be invited to be interviewed by a panel of GB Baseball personnel, as well as the Lead Programme Manager.
