Youth baseball is in full swing in September

September is a busy month for youth baseball with four tournaments being held in the second half of the month.

First up is the U10s and U12s Youth National Baseball Championship (YNBC) which are being held at Farnham Park on Saturday 14th September.

The following day at Farnham Park will see BBF Mix and Match and T-Rex T-Ball sessions taking place.  This will be a great event for anyone from the age of 4, regardless of their prior experience.

The U15 YNBCs is on Saturday 21st September at Grovehill Park in Hemel Hempstead, the home of Herts Baseball Club.

Finally, Cambridge Baseball Club are hosting the Cambridge Games, a youth tournament on Saturday 28th September. For further details please contact the club by email youth@cambridgebaseball.co.uk

“Getting more young people to play more baseball is a key part of developing the game in this country, and we are delighted that we now have over 20 clubs running formal youth programmes,” said Glenn Taylor, the BBF Youth Commissioner. “The YNBCs will highlight the growing quality of the game at all youth levels with future stars making their presence felt.”
