The British Baseball Federation is pleased to announce Glen Robertson as the new National Teams Programme Official.
New National Teams Programme Official, Glen Robertson
Glen has been involved with Great Britain baseball since 2013 and was appointed operations manager, whilst Liam Carroll was head coach, later becoming senior operations manager for the GB programme.
In his tenure, he managed operations for five European Championships, the 2023 World Classic, and several other competitions.
As the NTPO, Glen will be responsible for overseeing and supporting all BBF-Affiliated National Team programmes, working closely with all GB head coaches and as part of the Performance Management Group led by Gary Anderson, the Olympic team leader
Glen said “I have been involved in GB baseball for over a decade and in that time have had the fortune to have worked with many of the greats from GB. I intend to put in to practice everything I have learned from them to make GB baseball an elite, well-governed, structured organisation from top to bottom. There is a lot of work to do, but no one will work harder than me to deliver a programme worthy of being called British,”
BBF President, Richard Evans, said, “I am delighted to have Glen as part of the team bringing a vast amount of experience to the role with his GB track record. I also want to thank Glenn Taylor who took on the role on an interim basis over the past five months.”
The board of the British Baseball Federation expresses their gratitude to the independent panel who conducted the recruitment process on their behalf.
