Great Britain Baseball– Head Coach / Manager Recruitment

Great Britain Baseball is seeking a world-class and inspirational Head Coach/Manager to lead our programme to new heights on the international stage.

We are looking for someone with a proven track record of success at the highest levels of competition, someone who will bring vision, leadership, and expertise needed to develop a winning culture and drive sustained excellence.

This is an exciting opportunity to lead the Great Britain Olympic Baseball programme with the goal of continuing the excellent performance trajectory.

As a key driver in the programme’s growth, the head coach will be responsible for building and shaping the team, developing high performance training structures, and implementing strategies to enhance performance on a global stage.

The successful candidate will have the opportunity to elevate the sport to new heights, including leading the team at the forthcoming European Championships and the 2026 World Baseball Classic.

The challenge is significant, but the rewards of shaping a winning team and advancing the sport make it an incredibly exciting opportunity.

The following are essential and required for the role:

  • Hold a recognised international coaching qualification

  • Experience of working in a national team programme and considerable experience in professional baseball

  • Be able to demonstrate success on an international stage

  • Exceptional organisational and communication skills

  • Able to communicate fluently in English both written and verbally

  • Willing to work irregular hours and travel extensively with overnight stays and weekend work

  • Willing and able to sign all policies and undergo training where relevant to the position as identified by the BBF, including anti-doping, safeguarding, equality etc
