Great Britain Baseball Announces Partnership with TruMedia

Great Britain Baseball is excited to announce that it has partnered with Tru Media, utilising their industry-leading baseball analytics platform to supercharge its scouting efforts in 2023.

TruMedia’s advanced analytics platform helps baseball organisations all over the world build advance scouting reports, and automate player development reports. The tool will help Great Britain Baseball’s staff to find, filter and present statistics and tracking data from across all levels of professional baseball – allowing them to assemble the best talent, and compete in important competitions, like the upcoming World Baseball Classic.

Great Britain Baseball Manager & Head Coach Drew Spencer said: “This is a very exciting time for Great Britain Baseball, with several important competitions coming up. We will be even better prepared, having access to TruMedia’s ability to combine video and data with features to create custom reports. This makes it an essential tool that will assist our program in the creation of scouting reports.”

Great Britain Baseball, Bullpen Coach & Head of Advance Scouting Team, Conor Brooks, added: “TruMedia is the premier resource in all of baseball for game preparation, evaluation and strategy. The nuance and detail that they provide is unparalleled by any other product in the game, and the result for Great Britain Baseball is a heightened confidence and knowledge from the moment we take the field.”

Great Britain Baseball, Lee MacPhail, Advance Scout said: “Trumedia has been invaluable for both me and Great Britain Baseball. It provides vital information, including video content, player analysis, and other analytic tools which have helped us prepare for international tournaments like the WBC. Fortunately, it's easy to use, simplifying the process of information gathering and game planning. It has given our players and coaches access to the resources they deserve to compete.”

TruMedia VP, Albert Larcada added: “We are thrilled to be supporting Great Britain Baseball in their quest for the World Baseball Classic title, giving their coaches and staff the ability to do research and scouting the same way the significant majority of MLB clubs do with our products. It's an exciting time in Great Britain Baseball, and we're ecstatic to be along for the ride.”
