New Manager of GB Women’s Senior National Team announced
Great Britain Baseball is delighted to announce that Pietro Sollecito has been appointed as the new Manager for the Women’s Senior National Baseball Team.
Pietro has decades of experience in the game, both as a player, coach and Manager at multiple levels and in various cultures and nations, including previous work with Great Britain Baseball as both a coach and a General Manager.
“It is an exciting time for the GB baseball programme, and I am truly humbled to be asked to contribute to the development of the women’s game. The UK has been a pioneer in women’s baseball, and the GB programme will seek to leverage the nation’s great enthusiasm and talent to produce a team that showcases our strength and commitment.” said Pietro of his appointment, “I look forward to beginning our journey to 2025 Women’s European Baseball Championship and thank the GB community for its trust and support.”
