SIX TEAMS SEEK CHAMPIONSHIP TITLES AT WEEKEND’S BASEBALL FINALS
Six baseball teams from across the country head to Farnham Park this coming Sunday to compete in the nationals finals of the BBF Triple A, Double A and Single A divisions.
Bournemouth Bears and London Metros will face each other at 11.00am to decide the BBF AAA champions.

In the semi finals, the Bears overcame the Herts Cardinals 9-5 in a thriller on the south coast while at Basing Hill the London Metros clung on to beat Richmond Knights 9-6 in another close game.
The Double AA final, which will start at 3.00pm on Sunday, will be between London Sidewinders and Hurricanes Baseball from Kent.

The Sidewinders strolled to a 17-2 victory over Norwich Iceni while the Hurricanes emerged as 16-13 winners in a game which saw the lead exchange hands several times.
Cardiff Merlins I and London Mustangs will line up for the Single A final also at 3.00pm on Sunday.
Both teams were convincing winners in their semi finals. The Merlins beat Herts Ravens 12-2 in Cardiff and the Mustangs beat Tonbridge Bobcats 13-2.
“Each final promises to be closely fought with excellent baseball being played by all the teams,” said Chris Carter, the BBF’s Senior League Commissioner. “This has been a very closely fought season across all our divisions and it’s very encouraging to see a geographical spread of teams from across the country.”
