We are recruiting a National Teams Programme Official to oversee and support the GB Baseball National Teams Programme on behalf of the BBF Board following the recent AGM.

Role Title: Great Britain Baseball (GB) National Teams Programme Official (NTPO)
Location: Remote, with occasional travel for events and meetings
Role Type: Voluntary (unpaid)
Role Purpose:The National Teams Programme Official (NTPO) is responsible for overseeing and supporting all British Baseball Federation (BBF) National Team programmes.
This includes ensuring effective governance, alignment with BBF and Sport England’s governance standards, and collaboration with key stakeholders to enhance programme development.
You will be a voting member on the board of the British Baseball Federation and will report to, and be responsible to the Board.
You will have responsibility for other volunteers including the Director of Baseball and the GB Operations Director.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Director of Baseball and the GB Operations Director to perform the following responsibilities:
Act as the primary liaison between the National Teams Committee and BBF board.
Work closely with the GB Baseball Director of Baseball and BSUK’s Performance Management Group.
Coordinate and manage the National Teams Committee to review governance and operational processes.
Promote inclusivity and excellence in the National Teams programme.
Represent the National Teams Programme in meetings and other forums as required.
Skills and Experience Required:
Demonstrable extensive experience in sports governance, management and administration at a national or international level.
Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple prioritieseffectively.
Knowledge of baseball and experience in national or international team sports.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively withdiverse stakeholders.
Commitment to upholding high standards of governance and ethical practice.
Personal Attributes:
Passionate about the development of British baseball and national sports programmes.
Strong leadership skills with a collaborative approach.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
