The British Baseball Federation and Manager Bradley Marcelino have today announced the Great Britain Baseball roster and staff for the 2025 European Baseball Championships. Great Britain will play in Group B in Rotterdam, along with Israel, France, and the hosts, The Netherlands from 20-27 September 2025.
Great Britain will be defending their second-ever silver medal, achieved at the 2023 edition of the European Championships in Czechia. The tournament marks Marcelino’s debut as Great Britain Manager and follows the announcement that the Essex native will lead the team at the 2026 World Baseball Classic in Houston, Texas next March.

Great Britain’s roster features eight returning players from the silver-medal-winning 2023 European Championship Roster (Christopher, Dawson, Flaherty, Messer, Sanders, Sollecito, N. Ward, and Webb) as well as four players from the 2023 World Baseball Classic team (Benoit, Long, Ward and Webb). Eleven members of the roster (Allen, Bear, Beck, Cameron, Campbell, Collins, Cresswell, Johnston, Seppings, Viera and M. Ward) will make their debut at the senior level for Great Britain, with five players (Allen, Campbell, Colletti, Collins, Johnston, and LeClair) making the jump from this year’s Gold Medal Winning U23 team. Alex Webb, the longest tenured player (since 2014) and Nick Ward will serve as the team’s captains.

Great Britain will play in their opening game of the tournament on Saturday, 20 September against The Netherlands at 19:30 CET/18:30 BST at the sold-out Neptunus Familiestadion in Rotterdam.
