The Margaret Borley Youth National Baseball Championships 2026 got off to a flying start, with the U12 and U14 competitions in action as clubs battled for their places at Championship Weekend.
In the U12 bracket, Birmingham, Cambridge, Herts and LYBL all came through their quarter-final matchups to secure places in the semi-finals and keep their championship hopes alive.
The U14 competition was also in action, with Herts successfully navigating the bracket to complete the lineup for the tournament’s final weekend.
Attention now turns to Farnham Park for the final weekend of the 2026 Margaret Borley Youth National Championships, with the U10 division joining the action on Saturday.
We’ll crown both our U10 and U12 national champions on Saturday 26 September, before the U14 Championship takes centre stage on Sunday 27 September, bringing both the tournament and the 2026 BBF youth season to a close.
With three national titles on the line, it promises to be a fantastic weekend of youth baseball.
T-Rex T-Ball Taster returns
Following the success of previous years, we’ll once again be running a T-Rex T-Ball Taster alongside the Youth National Championships.
The session will take place at 1:15pm on Saturday 26 September at Farnham Park and is a great opportunity for younger children to get involved, try T-Ball and experience baseball in a fun and welcoming environment.

The U10 competition begins with three rounds of pool play before the final placing games and Championship at 4:00pm.

The two U12 semi-finals get underway at 11:00am, with the Championship game scheduled for 2:00pm.

The U14s bring the weekend to a close on Sunday, with Oxford facing Cambridge and Herts taking on LYBL in the morning semi-finals before the placing game and Championship at 2:00pm.
