The regular season is over and the stage is set for the 2025 BBF Playoffs. From the highest level of British baseball, NBL, to the wide-open Single A field, teams across the country are gearing up for September baseball.
NBL
London Mets finished the season with a record of 22-2 in the NBL and will take their place in the NBL Playoff final. Third place Herts Toucans (10-13) will face the fourth placed Sheffield Bruins (7-16) with the winner taking on second place Essex Arrows (15-9) for a chance to meet the Mets in the final.
NBL playoff games will be played on 7th September in Essex.
AAA
Seven AAA teams from the Northern and Southern divisions head to post season with first place overall, Manchester A’s (19-5) of the North getting a bye through the qualifying round.
Leicester Blue Sox (19-5) whom finished second in the North will face Richmond Roebucks (12-11) whom finished second in South B division. The winner will then face South B table toppers, Bristol Badgers (17-6) with both teams heading to the semi finals.
Third placed North team, Liverpool Trojans (15-7) will meet London Metros (15-7) with the winner then taking on South A topping Essex Saxons (17-7) to battle for a place in the semi finals. Qualifying games will take place on 31st of August in Bristol.
AA
On August 30th AA East London Latin Boys (16-8), whom finished second place in South A, will face SWWBL second placed Taunton Muskets (17-7) with the winner playing North runner ups, Manchester Bees (15-5), for a chance to progress to the quarter finals where they will face South C table toppers, Kent Buccaneers (26-4) the following day in Croydon.
They will be joined by first placed in the North division, Sheffield Bladerunners (17-3) are drawn home against South C second placed Guildford Mavericks (22-8), SWWBL table toppers Cardiff Merlins (20-4) will play South B runner up Richmond Dragons (21-7), South B regular season winners London Meteors (23-7) will play South A toppers Milton Keynes Bucks (18-6).
A
Single A playoffs will kick off with a qualifying round where teams will be battling it out to reach the quarter finals. SWWBL Severn division winners, Bristol Buccaneers (23-1) will host second placed EEBL, Norwich Rebels (12-10).
After topping the Southern A division, Milton Keynes Bucks (18-6) will welcome Essex Seaxes (13-9). London Minotaurs (20-2) will host Richmond Barons (13-9). Hurricanes (24-3) who topped Southern B division take on Bognor Cobras (16-11). Exeter Spitfires (17-3) finished top of SWWBL Wessex and will face Brighton Jets (16-10).
Cambridge Royals (15-7) play Cardiff Merlins (17-7). Weston Jets (20-4) will welcome Newton Abbot Brewers (13-7) and London Mercury (17-5) will face Plymouth Mariners (15-5).
Games will be played on Sunday 7th September with the home teams hosting.
NBL and AAA finals will take place across the weekend of September 13th and 14th with AA and A finals taking place on the weekend of 20th and 21st September.
WBL
This years Women’s Baseball League final will take place on Saturday September 13th at Farnham Park where the top two WBL teams, reigning champions Sheffield Bruins (7-1) and London Mayhem (7-1) will play for the 2025 crown.

With a mix of heavy favourites and dark horses across every division, September promises high drama and potentially some big upsets on the road to crowning the 2025 champions.
