Great Britain Baseball alumni Gary Gill Hill and Owen Wild were in pitching action for the Tampa Bay Rays AA affiliate, Montgomery Biscuits on the road to Chicago Cubs affiliate, Knoxville Smokies last Friday, 23rd May.
Right hander Gill Hill opened the game, the second of a double-header for the Biscuits, allowing just one run over his five innings on the mound before fellow GB alum, Owen Wild, came in to close the last two innings striking out three and allowing only one hit on his way to his fifth save of the year and Gill Hill’s second win from two.
Wild has today, 26th May, been assigned to AAA Durham Bulls
